If you own a Peter Lynn folding buggy you might come across the same problem that i was experiencing when riding on rough terrain. Your side arms would bounce out of position causing your seat to suddenly drop to the floor causing considerable pain to the backside.
SOLUTION
what you need to get is some strapping to hold the frame work together. I find its best to have a quick release buckle in the middle for easy assembling and packing.

you can find these straps on the Internet, I've noticed that supermarkets have them on their trolleys, you could ask them where they buy theirs from.

Once the straps are in place, a nice tight tension will keep the side arms from bouncing off their hooks.
